Devices with a single USB charging port offer a problem. When you have power plugged in? You can’t plug in anything else – like a mass storage device, mouse, keyboard, flash drive or “other”.

What could i buy that would let me connect my steam deck to the tv and external ssd drive and charge it at the same time?
The redmagic one is what I really want. But this isn’t available in my country. I don’t know why there is not a single one of that kind of hub available.
As for as USB C video out to portable monitors, I can’t speak to whether this is a common feature in portable monitors, but mine has two USB C ports and I plug my steam deck into the monitor via USB C and then I plug my power into the 2nd USB C port in the monitor, which will feed power back into the Steam Deck.
Your video was so comprehensive. But I’m such an idiot! I need this solution: I have a steam deck and a jsaux rgb dock that work great. But I need multiple storage (like a SSD enclosure for 4T games, and micro sd for a windows front end for retro. And power to go through it. I think I want this Minthouz USB C docking station 8-in-1. Can I just put it between the jssax dock and steam deck? Thanks! Great show!
