Healthy use of a desktop mouse – How to avoid problems and keep your body healthy when using a desktop mouse?
Bad mouse habits contribute to local joint issues, plus neck & spine problems.
First of all, see that your hands aren’t held twisted to the right or to the left.
Instead, work with a straight alignment from your arm into your hand.
Second, don’t put weight on your wrist joint, elevating your hand while sinking the wrist joint. This creates excess tension all the way to your neck and pulls your body to the mouse side, causing lower back imbalance.
Instead of heaviness in the wrist joint, lighten the place UP – that lightens up the whole arm.
Don’t lean on your hands or elbows. Let your weight travel down to your sitting bones and get your support from the ground, the chair and your spine.
Use ground support to elevate your torso up, with your arms light & free to move.
