wait wait wait… you don’t need a c wire for the 4th gen nest?
I have the 1st gen nest and didn’t need a c wire but I bought the cheap $100 nest and that one does require a c wire.
Don’t be stupid! Google killed all of my thermostats, including the ones in my commercial building. I will never buy another Nest product. I’m willing to pay more for a different brand F#$K Google. Anyone buying a new one could face the same thing when Google wants to sell more thermostats in the future. Waiting on the class action lawsuit.
If you don’t have a C wire you can buy a 24v 500ma transformer and just plug it into a regular electrical outlet. That’s what I did, and my Ecobee works great.
