Top 5 MagSafe Grips For The iPhone 17
#5 – Andobil [2025 Ultra-Thin] Grip
– Thinnest grip I own → won’t snag on pockets
– Flexible design spreads weight better than metal rings
– Not great for long use; accessing grip can be finicky
– Built-in stand is sturdy, works portrait & landscape
– Magnet strength ~35N (below average, but usable)
– $30 → great if you want an occasional grip + solid stand
#4 – UAG Monarch Mag2 Ring Stand
– Excellent build quality, smooth joints
– Works in portrait, landscape, and elevated viewing
– Bonus magnets → mount on gym racks or metal surfaces
– Functions as a grip, reduces finger fatigue
– Downsides: weaker magnets on bare iPhone, catches on pockets, heavier than average
– $55 → pricey, but amazing for movie watchers
#3 – MOFT Phone Tripod Stand
– Marketed as a stand → one of the best
– Portrait, landscape, and elevated positions
– Folds slim, doesn’t snag much
– Distributes weight across fingers → no knuckle pain
– Downsides: heavier (90g), average magnets, larger footprint
– $40 → if I had to pick only one, I’d take this
#2 – Tango Ultra Thin Grip
– Super slim, best quick-access grip (spring pops up instantly)
– All-metal build, doubles as a stand
– Strong magnets, only 30g weight
– Downsides: metal spring digs in during long use, not as stable lying down
– $30 → best pick for keeping your iPhone sleek
#1 – PopSockets Kick-Out Stand
– PopGrip Round + hinge → grip + stand in one
– Comfortable, swappable tops, works portrait & landscape
– Downsides: magnetic base could be stronger, catches on pockets
– $30 → the best all-around MagSafe grip for any iPhone

Aulumu released a new MagSafe stand that I’d like to see a review on, especially being $50. It’s different from others for sure
Aaron, if you haven’t already, please try out grips in the style of the TORRAS 2025 Upgrade (Gen 6.0) Magnetic Phone Grip Holder Kickstand with Braided Strap, Fit for MagSafe Ring Removable and andobil [2025 Premium Leather] Magnetic Phone Grip for MagSafe [Longest Durable] Adjustable Phone Ring Kickstand (sorry for the long Amazon product names). Previously, I bought the Tango grip on your recommendation. I did like it a lot. Though it was degrading after 4+ months of what I would call heavy everyday usage. My priority, and I presume many others’, is the ability to do everything on a large phone like an iPhone Pro Max entirely with *one hand*, including reach every part of its touchscreen with my thumb, while minimizing drop risk and minimizing additional bulk and prospective difficulty taking it in and out of a front pants pocket. The fact that so many of these devices also function as stands is a nice bonus but is of secondary importance to me. You wrote, “The metal finger loops ones are especially terrible.” The two newer grips I mentioned I think would qualify as a variant of “metal finger loops.” But, relative to most others I’ve seen, these two are easier to use entirely one-handed. I do wish their magnetic strength was greater. And if they could ever achieve pass-through wireless charging (like OhSnap claims), that would be awesome.
#1 is soooo thick 😬
Can you review the Benks ArmorPop Grip & Stand? I’ve had one a little over two weeks and enjoy it. Would like to hear your thoughts.
Andobil $10 on amazon. Great grip for the money. Magnetic is strong. I have total confident using it on my iphone air.
