  1. For a microphone, you need an ADC. DAC is for speakers/headphones.
    The Samsung one might have a 3 channel 3.5mm (Left, Right, Mic). I know the Apple one is like that, and to get the Apple one to work with a separate mic, you need to use a splitter that splits out the speaker and mic channels into two 3.5mm sockets, and put the mic in the mic socket.

    But yes, if you just want to plug in a mic, then you are better getting one of the other ones.

  2. Which 3.5mm type C adapter do you think is the best for my earphones? (I’m using the JBL quantum 50) because I see you are using a mic meanwhile I’m using a in line mic any suggestion?

  3. Do all ” type c to 3.5 mm” adapters have built-in DAC ? . Do you require an external DAC or not for Android phones that don’t have headphones jack ? .
