Mobile gamers, REJOICE! There’s a new mobile gaming controller from 8BitDo, and they think it’s the ultimate option for those looking to take their competitive phone gameplay to the next level. With Hall effect buttons and triggers, solid build quality, and an extremely aggressive price point compared to the competition, will Linus be impressed, or are the phones themselves holding back the market?

  1. I don’t get why they didn’t think to add wireless charging when removing all of the passthrough charging functions. All of these controllers have done the same, ditched the USB for Bluetooth but gave you no option to charge your phone.

  2. Bought This 8btdo ultimate last month’s, using it from time to time wit my galaxy s22 ultra, even with solid case all fits well. Sticks are nice, buttons are fine. For me it is one of the best controllers for the price. Like it!
    But there is one flaw…
8bitd do software is no longer avaliable in play store, you can download .apk from their site but… Back buttons can be mapped as any other but why? Why i could want to make them behave like X or S or even bumper? If I could map some kind of macros, or something but just remap other buttons? Because of theese I never used back buttons at all…
But overall cobtroller feels good for me, especially comparing to any cheap crap from China..
